HNC Fund Cards of Hope

About

The Cards of Hope campaign aims to help Head Neck Cancer patients by providing handmade cards and drawings from children and adults between the ages of 2 and 102. The Cards of Hope are then proudly displayed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for Head and Neck Cancer patients worldwide to view and enjoy. It is imperative to remind HNC, patients of all ages, that they are not alone and to never lose hope for brighter and healthier days ahead.

Creativity and Compassion

Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities for creating a drawing or writing a letter to remind Head Neck Cancer patients that they are not alone and never to lose hope.

“When I was diagnosed with Stage 4 tongue cancer at the age of 22, I was extremely fortunate to have unconditional love and care from my family, friends, and world-renown medical team. In addition, I began receiving delightfully funny cards and thoughtfully handwritten letters in the mail from my sister, parents, grandparents and friends who lived in different parts of the country. Their words of encouragement, humor and thoughtfulness meant the world to me. Each one reminded me to stay focused on getting through my treatment and continuing to hope for healthier and brighter days ahead. This is why I began the Cards of Hope, to ideally provide other HNC patients the same hopeful sentiments.” – Alyssa Fischer-Reeder
